Expanded polystyrene’s flexibility makes it an excellent choice for lightweight creative applications and custom "packaging and architectural" shapes. Our CNC-guided hot wire cutting equipment can precisely cut custom two-dimensional shapes providing tolerances of less than a 16th of an inch, creating architectural elements (moldings), exterior decorations, custom signs or theatre set backdrops, and the list goes on.
We can reproduce from existing samples or help design new components from client-supplied drawings. And all our EPS products are 100% recyclable.
2-CUSTOMIZED MOLDED PACKAGING
With our EPS FOAM packaging, large household appliances arrive safely at the user’s door.
Our molded packaging parts fit around the appliances like a protective shield – without a significant increase in weight. This is because EPS FOAM consists of 98% air – but nevertheless, it is particularly resistant to pressure and holds its shape well.
This space-saving, efficient packaging allows appliances to be stacked for storage and transportation with no problems. That significantly reduces your logistics costs – an advantage that you can also pass on to your customers.
. The density of the polystyrene may also be important, and we can supply any density from 12 to 60kg m³.
3-CHIPS & BEADS
EPS(Expandable Polystyrene) is a lightweight, rigid, plastic foam material produced from solid particles of polystyrene. As it is made of 95% air, it is therefore extremely safe and above all, non-toxic. Depending on the products, their type of container for transportation, and the amount of protection required and movement allowed, will decide whether to use chips or beads for the transporting. Beads normally for small objects with reduced packing space.
4-SHIPPING BOXES
Certain products may need a certain size of box to be specially designed and sized around that product, for full protection, to keep the volume to a minimum, and the transport cost as low as possible. We can either participate in the design of the box, or make the boxes as required, to your exact specifications.
5-FISH&VEGETALES BOXES
With our thermal containers made of particle foam for fresh and chilled goods, you will meet all the requirements for complying with the cold chain and you can offer your customers a safe transportation and shipping solution – a significant factor for success in a growing market.
Our insulated boxes maintain a stable temperature window from 2 to 8 degrees Celsius for fresh goods and – when filled with dry ice – they can be used for shipping frozen goods. This way, customers receive only fresh goods of outstanding quality.
The range of ATC standard boxes extends from containers for small purchases (volume: 2.9 liters) to boxes for large orders (volume: 60 liters). There are no tool costs associated with these thermal boxes. This optimizes your supply chain, saving valuable resources.
The outstanding insulating ability of thermal boxes made of EPS or copolymers allows you to send even hot goods on their way at a constant temperature. This makes ATC a reliable partner for catering and event companies. Our products are also used to supply daily hot meals – for retirement care, for example.
Of course, all of our products meet the highest hygienic requirements for shipping food. The particle foam is food safe, odorless and neutral in taste. A look at beekeeping proves it: It has been shown that bees are comfortable in dwellings made of EXPANDED POLYSTYRENE and even produce their best honey here.
